The coffee in the Explorer Bundle is ethically sourced from coffee co-operatives in Honduras, Brazil, Colombia and Ethiopia. You’ll get four bags of delicious single origin coffee, and a bag of the jute blend (did we mention this won two stars in the 2020 Great Taste Awards?!).
Honduras
Honduras is finally and deservedly making waves in the coffee world for its deliciously fruity beans, their flavours intensified by the remarkably high altitudes that the nation’s coffee is often grown at. Ours comes with giddying hits of caramel, cocoa and cherry. It’s lovely as a long black or with milk.
Brazil
Our Brazil single origin comes with the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA) seal approval – a valuable indicator of quality in this coffee-producing machine of a country. Whether you drink it black or with milk, you’ll be treated to all sorts of chocolate, caramel and pecan flavours.
Colombia
Our Colombia single origin comes from a very special corner of the country, a heady 1800 metres above sea level, where members of specialist cooperative CENCOIC carefully tend the beans to bring out their natural citrus notes of orange and pineapple. It brews especially well using V60 or Chemex®. We particularly enjoy this as a long black.
Ethiopia
Ethiopia’s producers are the Willy Wonkas of the coffee world, their beans responsible for some of the most memorable and delightful coffees out there. With its sparkling notes of plum, cocoa and nectarine, we think our Ethiopia single origin is your golden ticket to a remarkable cup. It’s particularly special as a long black.
jute blend coffee
For our award-winning jute blend, we’ve taken four of our original single origins and combined them in a ratio that emphasises their individual qualities – we think the result is versatile and more than the sum of its parts, with a beautifully balanced palette of cherry, chocolate and toffee. Is great black or with milk.
