The coffee in the jute coffee bundle is ethically sourced from coffee co-operatives in Honduras, Brazil, Colombia and Ethiopia. You’ll get four bags of delicious single origin coffee, and a bag of the jute blend (did we mention this won two stars in the 2020 Great Taste Awards?!).
Our Honduran coffee comes from COAGRICSAL, an organisation made up of small cocoa and coffee growers. This cooperative means over 1000 families can benefit from social and educational programmes. It also manages a reforestation project.
Our Brazilian coffee comes from the ASCARIVE cooperative, an association made up of family farmers who are committed to producing high quality coffee. This coffee grows in the Carmo de Minas microregion, an area famous for volcanic soil, lots of sunlight and giddily high altitudes – just what every coffee plant desires!
Our Colombian coffee comes from the Cooperativa de Caficultores de Anserma, a non-profit cooperative made up of almost 3000 smallholders. Coffee is picked by hand – the only practical option on the steep slopes of the Andes where this cooperative is based.
IOur green Ethiopian coffee beans are sourced from the Bench Maji Forest Farmers Cooperative Union which is made up of 64 small cooperatives that produce and export coffee, spices and honey. The coffee here grows wild in the forest and is hand picked by local farmers, who receive an income and training through the cooperative.
The jute coffee bundle is sent out with free UK P&P. Order by midday for same-day despatch.
